11/23/2013 - 9:42am Scott & Jeno Congrats Congrats you guys on your passage. Looks like it was rough for the first 5 days. We watched you every day! Wishing we were there with you. One of the Salty Dawgs that lost their boats were good friends of ours from our marina on Lake Superior. Wings. They left the lake 1 month before we did. They did the Bahamas last year, then did the rally. Lost their engine, and rudder, and the boat is lost. It's all they had. Retired...very nice folks. We are sad for them. A chopper lifted them off the boat. Happy for you! Stay in touch. Work...sucks. Gotta work to sail......at least we do! Love, Scott and Jeno S/V Pendragon Caribbean 1500 2013

12/24/2013 - 3:13pm Kristen & Kevin Schmit LOVE IT! Paul and Monica, Just found your blog and absolutely love it! We are fellow Tayana 42 owners (as of Dec 12) We bought it in Annapolis and spent the first cruising season doing "shake down" and getting back to our home port in Portsmouth, NH. We went cruising back in 2001 for a year and since returning to "civilization", have been yearning to go back to the cruising life! We love what you have done with the boat and hope to hear more about some of the "retro fits". Good luck and if you are ever in New England, give us a holler! Would love to catch up sometime in the future and "swap stories". Until then, keep the stories and photos coming! Our hope is to "jump off" within the next 3-5 years! Fair Winds and Following Seas!
