It is October 18, 2010 and we have cast off the lines to start off our adventure south.  We are both feeling little nervous and very excited.  We have our mascot Morty from Frog Morter Yacht Club with us and as you can tell he is ready for some warm weather.  We are heading to the Magothy River to anchor out for the evening.

Upon arrival we found out fellow club members, Warren and Patty on Warren de Mar, are there as well.  We decided to raft up with them and their friend Neil on Abraxas.  We all had sundowners with some appetizers. After we went back to the boat for dinner and for some much needed sleep, because it will be an early morning.

We anchored in San Domingo Creek on the Chesapeake Bay one evening.  What a beautiful spot to put the anchor down for the evening. It is so peace and quiet there.

We have 2 weekends untill we are starting our journey to Hampton, Va. which is where we meet up with the rest of the Caribbean 1500 Rally.

We have been doing lots of preparation to get ready for this adventure.  If time was only on our side.  This weekend we are finishing up some installs and connecting some wires.

Of course, I am learning how to master our new web site that my father has done a fantastic job on!  Thank You Jon!
