Sounds like all of you are adjusting well to life at sea. At least there are 4 of you sit watches. Judy & I were all we had & no one else to turn the helm over to. Thank goodness for our third & best crew member AUTOPILOT She never complained or took a break By the way how did the vane handle the boat & seas? Glad you are having fun Fred
Monica you look incredible and your journal entries are amazing! After reading them, I feel like we were with you during the entire journey. Time to enjoy the fruits of your labors! Miss you both....hugs and kisses, Tracy and Hawk
Now you two can enjoy each others company. No one to bother you. Take off for Anigota & find a secluded anchorage to fully kick back This is what being a CRUISER is all about.
I think I told you that Al fractured his sholder while replacing the Perkins engine. He is out of commission until Jan. according to Lois.
Enjoy Mafe sure to visit Foxies Fred
Great to see the main leg of your cruise come to a successful end. Have been following your progress thru your position. Enjoy your time "island hopping". Bobbi and I are off to the Election of Officers and Brunch later this AM.
We will continue to follow the blog and again - CONGRATS & ENJOY.
It sounds like you guys had a pretty lumpy trip. I am really enjoying reading all the details. The pictures are fantastic. Nice job Captain and crew in getting yourselves and the boat safely to Tortola. Way to go!
I'm reading all your blogs and just thinking how amazing your trip sounds! I don't think Troy and I could handle it! lol! Glad you guys made and are having a great time! Can't wait to see all the pics! Dawn
All the pictures I see of the stern don't show the vane. How did it work under the big waves off the rear quarter? Wait to hear
We are back in PA once again. Fred
We were thinking of you guys on Thanksgiving. We were camping and it was about 30 degrees with a stiff wind. As we huddled close to the fire we thought about you guys, 85 degree temps, beautiful islands, warm waters. We hate to see you suffering like that and we would be willing to sacrifice and trade places with you.
Hi Paul and Monica. We've been following your voyage. It looks like you had a lot of fun. Congratulations on your successful voyage. Can't wait to see you in person although I'm thinking you'd rather stay there. I'd rather have sunshine then snowflakes any day!!
Monica--great job on the videos. I was feeling seasick just from watching those waves. Love the new pictures in the photo galleries, too. Kudos on capturing the natural beauty of the BVIs.
