Leverick Bay

On December 7 we were still in Leverick Bay on a mooring.  We went to Jumbies Bar for a beach barbeque with the lively macko jumbies dancers (Caribbean stilt dancers).  The food was great.  Paul had two rounds of the buffet.  There was a fun band playing called Hard Core.  Then around eight pm the jumbies did their show which lasted about an hour.  One of the jumbies went for a swim in the pool.  It was a fun evening.  We also ran into Captain Woody's crew.  We also ran into them at the Willy T.  They are down for the week on their cruise.
The next morning we decided to leave.  It was very rolling the last two nights and we decided for a calm place.  So, we decided to go to Lee Bay on Great Camanoe.  We had a great down wind sail blowing 15 to 20 knots.  What more could you ask for?  Well the dolphins joined us giving us quite a show.  Finally we saw dolphins!  Once we got to Lee Bay there were four boats already there.  It looks like you can fit about 6 to 7 boats in the anchorage.  It took us three tries to get the anchor down.  But, the third time was a charm.  There are huge rocks and some small caves.  We settled in and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.  We will find out about the snorkeling tomorrow.
