Hi Paul and Monica:
We are enjoying sub-freezing temps in Amish Country...tonight is supposed to be about 11 degrees.
I assume you are putting up well with the tropical temps. Drew entertained 'The Friday Sailing Club' last Saturday evening at our house with his sailing adventures with you this Fall. We are all jealous.
Another few weeks and we will be launching...getting back to weekends on the Bay.
Best of everything to you in 2013...stay well and stay in touch.
Fair Winds,
Tom

Hope all is well in Paradise Lynn & I are enjoying the warm breezes as well as the sunny days of Cancun for the next 7 weeks. Then we will return to try & prepare Wild Oats for spring commissioning about April 15 th. or sooner. I cannot wait The bottom was not as bad as I expected after being in the water continuously for 3 years with two trips south in that time. It was time to be pulled & let dry out for a few months. No blisters thank goodness. The Insurance survey went well. Now I am in good shape for a few more years.
Keep in totch When are you headed north?
Fair winds & good sails Fred
It is Feb.18,2013 We are still in Cancun for 2 more weeks.
Where are you two enjoying the winter months these days? Seems like it has been an awful long time since we heard from you. When you can let me hear about your travels. Waiting to hear Fred
Paul and Monica,
We have't heard from you lately. We missed your Christmas day phone call! Cindy and I are just now thinking about getting the Almond Joy ready for Spring. Damn, it snowed 3 inches a couple of days ago. You all are definitely livin the dream. Stay in touch. Keith and Cindy
Hi How are you?? We are in Sarasota Fl!!!! Where are you guys going?? I would love to see you!!! Are you going to MD again?? Please let us know!!!!
Much Love & following seas!!!
Have a wonderful time I will miss being able to meet you either at anchor or at Bert Jabins Yard
Did you change crew for the trip? I don't know why but I thought it was another sailing couple you had met. Please stay in totch. Are you with the Salty Dogs or the Rally?
Fred S/V Wild Oats
I envy you guys so much. Having done the 1500 twice before I know the fun and anticipation of the days before departure. Unfortunately my life right now is too complicated with land based concerns, and cash flow (or lack of it) problems. At least the government shut down didn't prevent my Soc. Sec. from coming this month which is a big relief. Have fun and drink a beer for me, but don't make it the "one too many" especially the night before departure. Bob Morrowj
Go EAST while y'all have lighter winds. The farther south you get the trades are filling back in as of Sunday and looks like expect 20-25 out of east Sunday night thru Tuesday night. Hope to have you safely in port by Tuesday??
